Steelwork – Construction and Statics
ICB carries out structural planning and calculation of steel structures (e.g. stages, runways, platforms, bridges, support constructions) according to Eurocode.
Major assignment is to testify via calculation that structural safety is warranted and usability is sufficient at defined load scenarios (e.g. mechanical static and dynamic load, environment loads, earth quake, combined load) and that the layout follows economic aspects (e.g. weight, erection cost, operational cost, life time, possibility for extension).
Scope of the static planning and calculation (e.g. profiles, structure type, node type) is agreed with the customer on project basis.
The verification is done via a calculation report which – on request – can be prepared as verifiable report meaning suitable to be submitted to a third party for additional verification.
In addition ICB carries out the steel work construction work in compliance with EN 1090-2.

- Detail drawings including NC- or DXF-files
- Assembly drawings
- Erection drawings
The construction work is done via acknowledged and globally recognized software systems.
As a result you receive a comprehensive steel work construction package as a basis for tender, purchasing, manufacturing and erection.
